1:1 interior design

You're not bad at this. You're out of bandwidth.

One room still has no job. The whole house is asking for decisions you don't have left to give.

Who this is for

You have a whole house. A move. A rebuild you are living inside of right now.

You have a Pinterest board, a budget, and still no decision. The project got bigger than one person could carry alone.

The real question

You keep asking what goes in this room. That is not the real question.

The real question is what this room is for, in the life you live now. This is the Bagua conversation, and your last designer never had it with you.

Furniture will not answer that.

Before and after

The room finds its job

A guest room with no job. Now it holds her morning practice.
A living room no one used. Now it holds the whole family.
A primary suite from the builder's plan. Now it feels like hers.

How it works

From the first questions to the hand-over

Before we start

  1. Inquiry

  2. Call booked

You book a discovery call, if you want one.

  3. Ten questions

Short questions about your space and your life in it.

  4. Discovery call

  5. Proposal

  6. Payment in full

After payment

  1. Energy reading

We read the energy of your space first.

  2. Space plan

We plan the layout and place the furniture for how you live.

  3. Mood board

  4. Optional renders

Construction drawings or 3D renders, if you want them.

  5. Shopping list

You get a full list of what to buy.

  6. Hand-over package

This is fully virtual. Paula designs and picks every detail. You buy and install it, with Paula on the phone the whole time.

No markups

The cost, in plain words

You will know the full cost before you say yes. No markups. We talk numbers on the discovery call. That is the whole plan.

I can do it myself

You did not fail. The project got bigger than one person could carry.

You already have taste. You are not out of ideas. You are out of hours in the day.

It is okay to stop carrying this alone.

The sentence for your husband

He is not asking about taste. He is asking if this is worth the money.

Here is what changes. The room gets used. The house stops handing you a to-do list. You stop buying furniture that does not work.

This is the year our house finally becomes our home.

“We live in a home, not a house.”
“The demo and rebuild of our home, while living in it, was very stressful and Paula helped me numerous times, even last minute, with design changes and challenges. Knowing I could text or email Paula and get a quick response, especially during the very stressful building phase of our project, was extremely helpful. I was making all of the decisions on my own, and decision fatigue is a real thing. Having someone to bounce ideas off of and to get some concrete guidelines on the direction to go in was so helpful. Paula got my style right away.”

Our promises

01

No stress

You do not manage this project. Paula does. You get clear steps and someone who answers your questions.

02

One plan

Every choice fits your life, not a trend. Your home holds what matters to you.

03

Made to use

Beautiful is not enough. Every room has to work for how you live in it.

Questions

What does virtual design mean?

Paula makes every design choice. She sends you a full plan and a shopping list, and you bring it to life.

How long does a project take?

Most projects take a few weeks after payment, depending on the size of the space.

Do you mark up what I buy?

No. We never add a markup. You pay the store price, not ours.

Do I have to be local?

No. This work is fully virtual. We meet by phone and email, wherever you live.

What do I get at the end?

You get a full hand-over package. It has a mood board, a shopping list, and a guide to install it.

How do I pay?

In full, after your proposal. There is no deposit and no payment plan.

Tell me about the project.

Keep it short. Paula reads every message herself.
